EMEEN Network recently collaborated with the prestigious organisation Migrant Help, UK to celebrate International Migrants day 2022. This project aimed to highlight the contribution of skilled migrant ethnic minority professionals to the Northern Ireland society and economy.
Mr Azhar Mutuza, who is an Indian born award winning biotechnologist was hailed by Belfast Live News for putting Northern Ireland on the world map through this project. This write up made a significant impact to challenge the negative perception on migration and migrants. This project was aimed to change the prevailing negative perception about migration and migrants that is prevailing in Northern Ireland Society and promote good community relation.
